MEET THE TEAM

QPG is made up of a unique and diverse bunch of local residents and professions who all give up their own time to make each of our sessions possible.

We are always very happy to welcome new members of staff to our ever expanding team!

Ryan is a Queen's Park Councillor, having been re-elected for another 4 years, and the Founder of QPG Community & Sports Hub. Ryan works tirelessly each day to ensure that local young people will always have access to free sporting activities in a time where spending cuts are all too prevalent. His aim is to ensure programmes like these for generations to come. Ryan is usually busy forming brand new partnerships within Westminster and Brent in order to continue the growth of the Hub. Inga is a creative genius and the glue that holds us all together. Her ability to create and manage great websites, as well as informative graphics, has helped us to ensure that all local parents are fully aware of all the great services that QPG Hub has to offer. 

Inga also works locally for a Social Enterprise providing employment for young people on a freelance basis as their Web Designer/ Manager and the staff at QPG Hub fully recommend all of her great capabilities.

Inga is also QPG Hub's Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

Krishin has recently joined the QPG team this Summer as our brand-new Social Media and Graphics person. He currently works in Sales Strategy in the City, and he has a real desire to use what he's learnt to help us expand QPG's reach and improve our funding so that as many people as possible can benefit from our activities. Unfortunately, Krishin spends most of his time worrying about Man United.

Nouman joined the QPG team this Autumn and has five years’ experience in delivering boxing and multi-sports sessions. He has done work experience with younger children and knows how to successfully interact with them on a day to day basis. He is very passionate and determined to teach young people the best ways to be active and helping them to achieve their full potential.

A keen Chelsea fan, Luke has previously worked as a football coach with under-18s and university teams.

When he’s not at work, or watching the Super Blues at Stamford Bridge, Luke plays for two local teams in West London.

Luke joined our growing team in Summer 2018 and will lead on our QPG Football under 13s sessions. We are excited to have him on board.

MANAGER OF 9s & 10s

Greg joined the QPG team in summer 2018. He worked as a football coach during his time at university and is now keen to use his experience to help expand QPG’s football activities. Greg is passionate about getting more young people active and the role sport can play in helping them achieve their potential. In his spare time, he is a keen cyclist and five-a-side fanatic.

Jacob joined the QPG Team in 2018, marking an expansion in the activities we deliver moving into our third year. He has extensive experience working within schools, engaging in group sports and activities with a wide range of people. Jacob shares our aims to get as many children and adults motivated so that they enjoy being active. We look forward to expanding our activities in line with his expertise in sports, and nutrition.

Ella has focused her career on supporting young people within West & Northwest London. She has worked for youth engagement charities since graduating in 2015 and is very passionate about helping young people fulfil their potential. Ella has a level 2 qualification in Football Coaching and plays with a woman's team in her spare time. She is striving to get more girls and young women in Queen’s Park involved in the sport.

Steve is a local resident who is passionate about sports and fitness. A father to two young boys himself, he knows more than anyone the importance of healthy and active lifestyles for children. Steve joined the QPG Hub Team in March 2017 and leads as Coach on our tennis club sessions. His brilliantly positive attitude towards exercise and community makes him an invaluable asset to QPG. Steve also heads up our PT Bootcamp training sessions.

Susie started volunteering as a homework helper with QPG Hub in Autumn 2018. She has a ‘day job’ in the charity sector and has lived in the Queen's Park area since 2014.

"A long time ago" she went to university, both in Cambridge and California. She’s very excited about helping kids to learn (especially in reading and maths), as well as having the opportunity to support the great work of the team at the QPG Community & Sports Hub.

Anthony joined the team in Spring 2018 and oversees our year 6 Football division and coaches us under 15s team weekly in Brent, managing several 5-a-side and 11-a-side teams. With over 20 years of coaching experience and great connections to several local schools, Anthony has been able to not only introduce new training techniques but also introduce leadership qualities to our members as they grow and develop.

Mohamed Elbarkey, the founder of Launch Tuition, has been teaching since 2014 and is recommended by students, parents, and schools alike.

He has two degrees in Rocket Science and has experience working in the Education Innovation sector. He’s extremely passionate about academic excellence for our future generations and inspiring socially diverse children into the top universities!

TUITION HUB TUTOR

Brad joined the QPG team in Summer 2018 as our lead multi-sports coach and after-school hub monitor working with several local schools. Focussing on our weekend under 16s sports activities, Brad has been able to use his skills to encourage young people to lead more active lifestyles. A Queen’s Park native since birth, Brad knows the specific needs of the area. He plays semi-pro football for Uxbridge FC and we are delighted to have Brad on our team.

Zak joined QPG in Spring 2019 as our Maths and Science tutor, as well as our after-school hub monitor.

From academic tutoring to participating in football sessions at the hub, Zak has been able to use his qualifications to best aid the kids' educational needs and help them on their path to success.

Zak has been involved in youth work for several years, with the most recent being LNA. We are happy to welcome Zak to the QPG Hub family and look forward to working with him.

Sam is a vibrant and bubbly character, and what's more, she's on our team! This means that you get to have her enthusiastic nature teaching you dance and yoga. Her passion, energy, and drive has seen her choreograph dance around the world and teach yoga on its highest peaks. A force to be reckoned with, she can take a person with two left feet and turn them into a dancing champion.

Shaheen joined the QPG Team in 2018, keen to pursue her passion in ensuring young people have the most well-rounded experience to build skills needed for happy and productive futures. Many moons ago, Shaheen trained as an Early Years teacher and has extensive experience of working in and with schools. Shaheen currently serves as a School Governor in Harrow.

Jason joined the team in Spring 2018 and having lived in the local Community for 18 years, he wants to be able to give back to the area that he loves. Thanks to QPG he is now able to do that. Jason loves all things Sports and has been using his experience in recruitment to assist us to find the perfect team, as well as assisting with sports-related administration every week.

Simon is a military veteran who has recently become one of our after-school homework helpers. His military time was spent as a Section Commander and Physical Training
Instructor within the Air Assault Brigade. Now a keen engineering student, Simon promises to
use his experiences to encourage, support, and build confidence in young people!

Steph recently joined the team as our Fundraising officer. She has worked in the charity sector for several years and is passionate about children's education and well-being. Steph has joined us to try and secure funding for the Hub for the next few years and is excited to get to know the team and families who are involved in QPG.

Having just graduated studying Anthropology, Carla is keen to gain experience working with children. She believes in the importance of education and dismantling inequality within it, making sure kids have the right and access to a good quality education regardless of their background.

Noah joined the QPG team in Autumn 2019, and delivers Multi-sports sessions alongside our senior coaches. He has a great passion for sports, and as well as studying Sports Sciences, he plays football at his own school club. Noah believes sports are essential for children’s growth and development as they help them to gain very important life skills.

Because of this belief, he is dedicated to fulfilling the QPG’s childrens' needs and enjoyment to the best of his ability. We are incredibly happy to have him on board.

SABRIN DAOUD

Sabrin has a history in philanthropy, and has recently returned from a trip to Tanzania where she used her artistic talents to help young kids via Art therapy. She loves everything creative. From North African descent, and a native Arabic speaker, she is also extremely talented in Arabic calligraphy. Her passion for helping young people achieve their dreams through the use of art has been able to touch many individuals. We are glad that Sabrin has chosen to help us here at QPG and we really appreciate her work.
