COOKERY CLUB -

CHILDREN'S

During the Covid-19 restrictions, QPG Hub became the centre of food and meals, along with our wonderful partners at Ida, the local Italian family restaurant. We quickly launched a cookery club using surplus stock provided by the Felix Project. Now our very own Kelly, along with Fiametta and Livo from Ida, run a wonderfully informative, fun and engaging cookery lesson every Friday between 4-5pm. They teach everything from how to cook hot meals to sweet desserts, and the club is open to children from all the local primary schools.

QPG HOMEWORK HELP - CHILDREN'S

On Monday and Thursday evenings we have dedicated the hub time to additional homework and assignment help to young people aged 5-16 years old. We also recently extended our services to those who attend secondary school. Subjects include Science, English, Mathematics, and beginners reading and writing skills. You will need to email to book in advance. We can supply all materials, but do bring along any homework and our tutors will do their very best to assist and support you weekly during term time.

BOXING CLUB -

CHILDREN'S

Join us on Wednesdays, 5-6pm, for a brand new boxing club with our new hub trainer Alfie Cain. Primary school aged children can take part in a wide variety of fun fitness challenges, with non-contact boxing and self defence classes, all whilst enjoying weekly catch ups with friends they've made at the hub. These sessions have been planned to encourage active healthy lifestyles. Kids will also get to enjoy free smoothies from the QPG Smoothie Hub. Parents will need to register for these sessions beforehand. Equipment is provided.
