“QPG is a wonderful organisation and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Hub HQ to meet a number of their very promising footballers, the energy and passion of the team is evident in the happiness of each of the children who attend. I am lucky to have seen first-hand the positive impact and difference QPG is making to the lives of children, young people and adults in their Community, - to everyone at QPG, keep believing in your dreams and don’t give up! Best wishes” – Xavier Amaechi - Arsenal

Queen's Park Gardens' Football Academy officially launched on the 2nd April 2016, after successfully receiving a small grant fund of £900 from Queen's Park Community Council to pay for a coach and volunteer expenses for 6 months. We are now working closely with London Sports Trust and Queen's Park Rangers in the Community Trust to ensure the delivery of weekly training sessions and tournaments. We are sponsored by Planet Organic.

The progress of the Academy can be followed on Twitter @QPGfootball or here on our website by bookmarking this page: www.qpghub.com/qpg-football

The Academy, run by Ryan Dalton, is the youngest member of the recently established Community Council in Queen's Park, and he has a strong passion that Queen's Park has its own dedicated football team, as well as a training programme that helps to build the skills and sporting knowledge of local young people, who could go on to be scouted by other London teams, some of whom have had trials with the likes of QPR and Norwich FC.

We also work closely with other organisations, such as Working with Men, to engage local young people who have had a history of anti-social behaviour, drug use, crime, and gang related activities within the area.

We now proudly have over 240 young players registered on our books, and in order to build on this growth we have now expanded to 5 sessions per week, as well as 5 more sessions within local schools, including a brand new dedicated girls only session every Friday at 4pm. QPG Football has also had the opportunity to assist with the running of the sports zone at the Queen's Park Summer Festivals, with Active Westminster, since 2016, which has helped with further promotion of our organisation to residents.

In 2018, we launched our first tournament sessions where our young players had the chance to use the skills they have learnt against other London teams. They came 3rd out of 8, which is extremely impressive for a team that has only just recently started out.

Having been closed for the entirety of the Covid-19 lockdown, enforced since March 2020, we are delighted to be operational again and back in the position of providing football sessions to the local community!

We are currently employing more coaches as we look to expand our sessions across Queen's Park, both in Westminster and Brent.

After 14 months of sessions on and off throughout the pandemic we are excited to return with a brand schedule from Sunday April 25th 2021. Keep an eye on our Twitter/ Insta/ Facebook to hear about our new Spring/ Summer timetables!

All our staff & volunteers have Advanced DBS Checks via Westminster City Council and U-check UK.
